How much does Sign Bid cost?▾
For you, nothing. Designing, sending the spec to bid, comparing bids, awarding the work, and posting a review are all free — and always will be. The bid you see is the price you pay. (Sign shops pay a small monthly subscription for access to leads — see "For shops" below.)
Do I have to know how to design?▾
No. The studio starts with a few presets — drop in your name, pick a sign type, choose a lighting mode, and you have a credible spec. The shop refines from there.
What if no one bids?▾
If nobody in your area bids on your project, we'll widen the radius and ping the broader network at no charge to you.
Who handles permits?▾
The winning shop. Sign permits vary by city and tenant — that's exactly the kind of thing a local fabricator handles better than a marketplace would.
Can I bring my own designer?▾
Yes. Upload a vector file or send the share link to your designer — they can collaborate in the studio with you.
How are shops vetted?▾
